I had been torn for a long time between my strong visual focus as a designer to just do what I know. With an extensive digital repertoire preceding my entry into academia, my creative inquiries consider how computation and our tools of digitalia extend their scope of applicability towards the arts, architecture, sciences, and its inter-disciplines. More recently, my projects have begun to approach the discussion of managing and organizing complex systems on a range of scales and programmes, focusing on those strategies that warrant for more intelligent, transformative applications within contemporary design discourse.
Though my body of work is small, I have developed a considerable reputation among several design communities and major cultural institutions, primarily through my technical and creative collaborations and winning competition entries, those of which recently include: The Creators Project (in partnership with Intel and Vice), Coroflot, ARCHIVE100, AnnoBooks, ATL Young Architects: Emerging Voices, the Architecture Center of Houston, and the Museum of Design Atlanta.
I currently reside in the Greater New York City area.
